Essential and Fixed Oils
Sage (Bitter Apple) Oil: Essential oil. It is antiseptic. Some components are toxic when used in high amounts. It has a pleasant taste and smell. Some studies have shown that tea tree oil is effective against chickenpox and is also good for cold sores and shingles caused by the same virus. Toxic in high doses.
Coconut Oil: Fixed oil. It is obtained from the shell or fruit of the coconut. It solidifies below 24.5 degrees. High content of lauric acid. This acid is converted to an oil known as monolaurin in the human body. Monolaurin is not naturally found elsewhere in breast milk. Apricot Kernel Oil: It is a light oil. It can be used in body peeling products, lip balms.
Lavender Oil: Essential oil. It is an essential oil obtained from the flower of lavender plant. Active ingredients include linalol and linalyl acetate. It has long been used in perfumes and aromatherapy. Reduces stress and anxiety, provides relief. In Germany, the use of capsules containing lavender oil in the treatment of anxiety disorder has been approved by the Ministry of Health. Due to its antibacterial properties, it is frequently used in homemade cleaning products. Breathing or diluting the steam of lavender oil relieves stress-related headaches. Inhalation of steam by adding to hot water is also good for lung infections and cough. When applied to the skin in general, it repels mosquitoes.
