The fungus usually occurs on your toenails, but can also grow on your fingernails. In addition to not being pleasing to the eye, treatment is also important for health. If you have yellowish, green or brown nails, be sure to take a look at the homemade remedies prepared for mushrooms.

CHARACTERISTICS OF NAIL FUNGUS

Its medical name is oncomycosis and is usually called nail fungus. It is especially common in men and large nails. It may come out in your hands. Women are more often affected.

As soon as a nail becomes infected with fungus, it spreads easily to other nails, but the disease is always on the same limb. This means that it can be on the fingernails of the same hand or foot, or even jump from one foot to another or from one hand to another. The possibility of the fungus spreading to your hands is very rare.

Fungus usually occurs due to environmental factors; for example, humidity, high temperatures, long hours of wearing shoes indoors, spending a lot of time in the pool. It can also affect people who are in constant contact with water by doing things like dishwashing, cleaning the house, and people with diabetes over 60 years, impaired blood circulation or poor immunity.

When the mushroom settles on the nail, the nail begins to thicken and appear yellow. Sometimes it can be gray, green, brown or black. Depending on how the infection progresses, the nail will gradually cover, peeling or even falling. The skin underneath is red, swollen and itchy.

In rare fingernail fungus, the nails are yellow or brown, cracks occur, the nail becomes brittle and weak. Because it is not strong enough to grow, it can fall in the same way as in the fungal foot.

RECOMMENDATIONS TO PREVENT THE SPREADING OF NAIL FUNGUS

Here are our recommendations for athlete's foot:

Do not wear shoes that are too narrow or made of synthetic material. The fungus likes moist, dark and non-ventilated environments because its reproduction occurs in such places. Take care not to get wet or damp socks on your feet in winter. Avoid materials that do not allow your skin to breathe, such as plastic. We recommend leather shoes, but if possible, especially shoes with free space on the nail will allow your foot to breathe.

Avoid walking barefoot in communal areas such as gym shower area, changing rooms, pool. If you walk around, wash your feet and dry them thoroughly before wearing your shoes.

Do not use others' nail clippers in beauty centers or in the family. Always take yours with you and don't share it with anyone. If one of your toenails has fungus, do not use the same tool to cut your other nails. That way, it won't bounce on your other nails. Cut your nails regularly and straight.

HOME MADE MEDICINES FOR FOOT NAIL

Mix one teaspoon of olive oil with teapot oil and apply directly to your toenail every other day for 20 days.

Soak your nail in lemon juice or place the lemon directly on the nail.

Put a cup of apple cider vinegar in a cap of water. Soak your feet in water for 20 minutes and then dry thoroughly. You can also dry it with a medium temperature dryer, so that it will absorb all the moisture that might remain under your fingernail.

Mix one teaspoon of olive oil with 3 drops of oregano oil and apply regularly over the sick nail for 3 weeks.

Add a finely chopped clove of garlic, 3 drops of white tendurium and 7 drops of lemon juice to a transparent nail polish. Leave for one week and apply a coat over the sick nail for 2 weeks. Use acetone and cotton to remove.

Mix half a glass of castor oil with 7 drops of lemon juice and place your foot in the container. Apply continuously for 6 weeks. Wash and dry your feet thoroughly.

Boil 5 cloves of garlic in a cup of water. Pour the mixture into a bowl and put your foot into the bowl so that your toenails remain in the water when warm. Wait for at least 15 minutes and then dry your feet thoroughly. Do this for 4 weeks.

Mix the carbonate with water until the paste is thick. Put it on the nail with cotton and if you can, put it under the nail, it will contact your skin. Wait a few minutes and then rinse and dry thoroughly.

Two cups of juice boil for 5 minutes with 3 tablespoons oregano. Put out the fire, cover it and let it infuse. Place the cotton into the cork nail.
