Can I use vinegar to remove earwax?
Hardin Memorial Hospital says white vinegar is useful for relieving ear discharge. Vinegar, mixed with the same amount of alcohol, gently inserted into the ear with a plastic ampoule syringe. If this procedure is used every few weeks, problems with earwax are usually corrected or prevented.
Hardin Memorial Hospital recommends a cleaner made of equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and water. In most people, the ear canal pushes the wax out, resulting in a manual unnecessary procedure. However, if the wax is too thick or if the ear canal fails to remove the wax, an accumulation occurs.
