Every day, our feet make a lot of effort without realizing it. During our daily walks, sports activities or standing for a long time, our most valuable collaborators are our feet.

Usually, our feet feel tired. Some of us think that feeling is "normal." However, there is a solution that can comfort our feet and provide the comfort they deserve: using special insoles adapted to our feet.

Maybe you're already using an ordinary insoles? How good can a footbed of the same layer, from the fingertip to the heel, come to your feet?

While each part of your foot is so different from each other, does a flat footbed of the same layer help your foot? What do the layers and components of the soles you receive offer you?

Do not take insoles without questioning them. Are the results of the analyzes performed only one data, can these data be transferred to your base and the insoles can be adapted to your feet?

In order for the soles to be suitable for your foot, it is extremely important that your foot mold is taken correctly and that the soles are the desired combination. As the biomechanics of each sport is different, your solitude must be able to respond to the movements of this sport and your foot.

Sidas has been working for 43 years to develop molding technology and to bring together all the components you need on their soles.

That's why professional athletes choose Sidas.

There are many types of soles to meet the needs of each type of foot and its activities.

We invited Thomas Arnaud, a pediatrician at the SIDAS Sports Orthopedics Center, to shed light on this issue and to understand its benefits.

Who are the insoles for?

"The insoles are for everyone, for everyday life and for all sports activities. When we buy a sneaker or another street shoe, the supplied insole is in standard format. But one foot is unique and a standard insole is not necessarily suitable for all feet.

How do I know if my shoes need insoles?

If the foot is not well adjusted in the shoe, walking and jogging; it may not be in the correct and natural position. An adapted insole will help to better transfer the foot supports to your shoe.

Insoles meet two basic needs:

- Increases comfort in shoes. Improves performance.

- Serves to solve targeted discomfort.

(If you have pain, we recommend that you consult a specialist)

In your daily life and sport, make sure that the cushioning and strengthening of your shoes is sufficient and suitable for your foot type.

What are the main benefits?

Wearing insoles suitable for your foot and activity has both short and long term benefits.

Sidas Custom insoles increase arch support on your feet and provide great comfort. During physical activity, the pillows help to alleviate and prevent joint or muscle pain in the feet.

In the short term: you will feel more comfort, better support, more protection, better performance and less fatigue.

In the long run: you get a better recovery because the load on the joints is reduced.

Do we need different insoles for sports and urban use?

Inadequate cushioning and support may cause the feet to feel tired. For everyday life and sports, each model has its own characteristics and needs are different:

For the city: buffering gel, film, care and hygiene

For running: cushioning, flexibility, lightness and dynamism

For hiking: support and protection, padded

For winter sports: heat and cold insulation, maintenance, durability and protection

What kind of insoles should be chosen according to my foot and activities?

Expectations and needs of users are different for each activity. SIDAS insoles meet the needs of each and help you choose the ideal model for your footbelt.

You can choose the soles you need from Sidas' wide product range, depending on the activity you are practicing (jogging, outdoor activities, skiing, daily use) or the daily needs of your feet.

If you want to be directed to the product type that is tailored to your application, go to the experts at our centers. They will analyze your feet and suggest the best soles model.

Our experts trained in our facilities and certified in techniques will advise according to your needs.

How long should I keep them?

It is difficult to give the insoles a life in kilometers or the number of days. It varies depending on the person and the frequency of use: Are you a professional athlete, marathon runner or triathlon player?

The coating beneath the metatarsals is usually where wear appears first. But beware, a new insole will not give a damaged shoe a second life!

To prolong the life of your soles, we recommend that you remove your shoes to dry outdoors after each use, not indoors.

Should we wear them all the time?

For comfortable Sidas Custom insoles for everyday life and sports, once worn, you can't go without them!

In short, 5 reasons to use insoles in your shoes:

- Optimize shoe properties

- Stabilize the foot

- Improves body harmony

- Promotes natural cushioning

- Prevents collapse and fatigue

Experience this new comfort yourself!

* Important note

If you have a history of pain or disability, we recommend that you first consult your orthopedic surgeon.
