Our feet, which are in the shoes all day, are subjected to many shocks during the day. It is very easy to care for our feet which cause various nail and foot problems.

Foot care, which is the most important aspect of personal hygiene, is not as difficult as it seems to be. Thanks to the simple techniques you can easily apply at home, your feet can be as comfortable and flawless as if they were from expert hands.

Wash your feet with warm, soapy water. After doing this, rinse with cold water, towel and finger thoroughly, including between the feet thoroughly dry. You can then apply moisturizing cream.

Try to cut your toenails round, not straight. Never cut the meat next to your nails. This will cause your nails to grow longer.

Massage your feet with pumice stone. When applied by massaging, pumice stone destroys the appearance of calluses and helps you to clean your feet. Dead skin is removed from your body and allows your skin to breathe comfortably. Keeping your feet in hot water for a while after these applications will keep your skin soft.

Perform massages towards your knees starting from your ankle. This massage regulates your blood circulation and eliminates swelling and pain in the feet.

You should pay attention to the moisturizers you will put on your feet before going to bed. Be careful not to miss it between the fingers because it causes fungus formation in these moist areas.

Before going to bed, apply a dense cream to your feet and put on a cotton socks. When you wake up, you will see your feet soft as a cotton.

What are the main causes of foot problems?
The main causes of foot problems; long standing, wrong nail care and inappropriate shoes selection. For jobs that require prolonged standing, there is little time for the feet to heal before starting the next working day. It is therefore very important to protect the feet by wearing suitable shoes for home and work. Routine application and regular foot care are not very difficult. In addition, many people may suffer from back, leg and knee pain, and this pain may be related to the feet. It is possible to eliminate pain by raising awareness of people about footwear and foot care.

What are general foot complaints?
Sometimes the load on the foot remains unstable and extra friction walls form in certain parts of the foot. When this occurs, thickening of the skin surfaces occurs. These hard skin pieces are called calluses. Callus is a defense mechanism that the body creates to protect the underlying tissues. If the pressure source is not removed, they become painful. Wearing appropriate shoes, using protective pads, and other self-care measures may help dissolve calluses.

The qualities of a good shoe:

1- From the heel to the end of the thumb, the inside of the shoe should be flat.

6- Normally, the feet are different in size. Choose shoes to fit the larger foot.
